Hamas: By sending weapons to Israel, Biden is a partner in the genocide in Gaza

Hamas condemned the insistence of US President Joe Biden's government to continue sending weapons and ammunition to the Zionist regime.

According to Palestinian news agencies, the Hamas movement emphasized in its statement on Saturday night: the insistence of the Biden government on its biased position and unlimited political and military support for the Zionist occupation regime and failed policies. His actions in the context of genocide and displacement of Palestinians from their land show the falsehood of Washington’s claims about [understanding] the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and the tragedies that the Zionist killing machine supported by Washington has caused in this region.

Hamas stated: America’s claims about supporting civilians are only made with the purpose of deceiving public opinion and covering up the occupation’s continuous crimes against the people of the Gaza Strip.

This movement further asked the international community and the United Nations to approve the complete ban on sending weapons to the criminal Zionist regime and to take the necessary measures to stop this regime’s encroachment on the Gaza Strip and to punish the heads and commanders of the army of this regime for committing crimes against humanity.

The American newspaper “Washington Post” reported yesterday Friday that despite Washington’s claim of concern about a possible military attack by the Israeli regime on the Rafah region in the south of the Gaza Strip, which could endanger the lives of hundreds of thousands of Palestinian civilians, the administration of US President Joe Biden In recent days, it has quietly agreed to allocate billions of dollars in military aid to Tel Aviv, which includes bombs and fighters.

According to knowledgeable officials in the Department of Defense (Pentagon) and the US Department of State, the new weapons packages include more than 1,800 2,000-pound bombs known as MK-82 and 500 500-pound bombs.

Previous reports considered the Israeli regime’s use of 2,000-pound bombs as the reason for the massive civilian casualties in Gaza.

Washington Post added: The provision of this military aid to Israel shows that while there is a dispute between the United States and Israel over the continuation of the war, the Biden administration has linked the military aid to Tel Aviv to the actions of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He doesn’t know.

According to this newspaper, a White House official said: We continue to support Israel’s right to defend itself. Making military aid conditional has not been our policy.
