The departure of the Danish destroyer from the Red Sea as a result of the heavy attacks of the Yemeni army

Today (Saturday), media sources announced the departure of the Danish destroyer from the Red Sea due to the damage caused to it as a result of the attacks of the Yemeni army.

Al-Akhbar newspaper reported: As a result of Yemeni army’s intensification of attacks on hostile foreign military ships in the Red Sea, Denmark finally joined the coalition about a month after the destroyer “Eve Hatfield” The so-called “Guardian of Welfare” led by the United States, removed this destroyer from the conflict zone near the Bab al-Mandeb Strait.

Denmark has claimed that the destroyer left the area due to a technical fault.

Military sources affiliated with the Yemeni army told Al-Akhbar in response to the Danish claim that the destroyer, which began its operation on February 4 in the Red Sea next to the USS Carney near Bab al-Mandab, has been operating for about a week. After the start of its operations, it faced several attacks from the Yemeni Navy.

He continued: Eve Hatfield remained behind the American ship and there were small military ships next to them. It is not unlikely that the command of this ship made a quick repair as part of the arrangements to withdraw it without prior announcement, due to the fear of being exposed to new attacks and also to hide its failure in the field of dealing with Yemeni attacks.

Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, considered the departure of this destroyer a new achievement for his country’s navy.

He noted: This departure took place a week after the British destroyer “Richmond” left the Red Sea.

Brigadier “Mujib Shamsan”, a military expert close to Yemen’s Ministry of Defense, also told Al-Akhbar: “The Danish destroyer withdrew from the area due to being exposed to heavy attacks by the Sana’a Navy.”

He clarified: The statement of the Danish Navy at the beginning of last March about the interception of four drones is evidence that shows that its destroyer has been exposed to Yemeni attacks, which led to the disruption of its air defense system.

Shamsan added: All sides of the “Guardian of Welfare” coalition are facing defense problems and all their air systems failed to repel Yemeni attacks.

He also continued: These systems are designed to intercept surface-to-sea horizontal missiles or submarine missiles that are usually launched from military submarines, and the current confrontation with the Yemeni forces in the Red Sea, Sana’s advanced sea missiles, which are fast and maneuverable They surprised the enemy.

Yemen, in support of Gaza, started its attacks on October 31 and carried out dozens of operations after that. The efforts have gone further and following the stupidity of the American coalition by carrying out attacks on different areas of Yemen, Sanaa has expanded its goals and now includes American and British ships.

Experts in this regard believe that the unprecedented operation of the Yemeni army, in addition to hindering the efforts of the United States and England to break the naval blockade of the Zionist regime, showed the military power that Washington was unaware of and actually messed up its equations. .

Despite Sanaa’s insistence on imposing a naval blockade on the Zionist regime until the end of the blockade and aggression of Gaza and targeting the ships of this regime and the ships of the United States and England as a result of their stupidity by attacking Yemen, but emphasizing on maintaining the security of maritime navigation for other ships and the statements of its officials are proof of this intention.
