If the election results in the Conservatives losing key positions in local councils, he could be replaced by Penny Mordant, a staunch supporter of Ukraine.
Earlier, a Labor Party official criticized the British Prime Minister for rejecting the option of holding the country’s next general election on May 2.
The next elections must be held no later than January 28, 2025, while the parliament must be dissolved by December 17, 2024.
