According to the regional office of Tasnim news agency, “Jamaat Al-Ahrar, a branch of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, announced that TTP chief Noor Wali Mehsud killed Umar Khalid Khorasani in cooperation with the Intelligence Organization of Pakistan Army.
Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, which is a separate branch of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, has been carrying out attacks in different parts of Pakistan for a long time.
Before this, the media reported Contradictions had also reported the death of Jamaat-ul-Ahrar leader Omar Khaled Khorasani in 2016.
On the other hand, Pakistani media had previously announced that Omar Khalid Khorasani was killed on August 16, 1401 in “Barmal” city of Paktia Province. “Mufti Hassan” and “Hafiz Dolat Khan” were also active.
One of the senior members of Jamaat-ul-Ahrar has said in a statement sent to the media that the leader of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan was afraid of Omar Khalid Khorasani’s influence, so he teamed up with the Intelligence Organization of the Pakistan Army to eliminate him.
Asad Mansour, one of the leaders of Jamaat al-Ahrar, emphasized in this statement that nothing is more important to them than revenge.
