Strict security measures around Al-Aqsa Mosque on the eve of the first Friday of the holy month of Ramadan

The Zionist regime’s fear of starting another intifada in the occupied Jerusalem forced this regime to take strict security measures around Al-Aqsa Mosque, on the eve of the first Friday of the holy month of Ramadan. In a report, the Zionist newspaper “The Times of Israel” announced the deployment of thousands of police forces in the old city of Jerusalem on the eve of the first Friday prayer of the holy month of Ramadan.

Meanwhile, Mirit Ben-Meir, the spokesman of the Zionist police, said in a conversation with reporters: “Thousands of police forces will be stationed in the streets around Al-Aqsa Mosque to prevent disruption of the city’s security.”

He announced the presence of more than 25,000 Muslims in the prayer ceremony of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the past 2 days and added: Since the beginning of the (blessed) month of Ramadan on Monday, we have deployed hundreds of policemen around the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The spokesman of the Zionist regime’s police said about the regime’s concern about the start of a new intifada in Jerusalem against the occupation: We are on alert. Ben Mayer stated that the reason for the tightening of security measures in the occupied Jerusalem is the concern of the declaration of solidarity of the people with the Palestinian resistance in Gaza.

The Zionist Army Radio also announced the adoption of unprecedented security measures in the West Bank and announced that 24 battalions, 20 companies and 2 special security units will be deployed in this region during the holy month of Ramadan. The Zionist Army Radio also announced that five thousand reservists from the residents of the Zionist settlements in the West Bank will also be stationed in the region.

According to this report, a total of 15,000 Zionist soldiers will be stationed in different areas of the West Bank during the month of Ramadan.

At the same time as the holy month of Ramadan is approaching and following the continuation of the Zionist regime’s crimes in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, Tel Aviv authorities are worried about the igniting of another intifada fire and the escalation of conflicts in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.

With the start of the Zionist army’s invasion of the Gaza Strip, Palestinian fighters and youths in the West Bank have also risen up against the Zionist forces in various cities of the region, including Nablus, Tulkarem, Jenin and Hebron.
