“James Hippie” Minister of the British Armed Forces announced that London should investigate the issue of sending troops to Ukraine.
This former British official said in an interview that some of the ideas that Macron recently proposed are really worth considering.
Hippie, however, warned that the idea should be carefully considered, as direct involvement in the war could have dire consequences for England.
The former minister of the British armed forces emphasized: I think you should be very careful not to turn it into a war between Russia and NATO.
Last month, the spokesman of British Prime Minister Rishi Sonak’s office announced that the country is against the idea of military deployment in Ukraine.
Before, French President Emmanuel Macron did not rule out sending Western troops to Ukraine. Macron later commented on this matter and said that he spoke fully knowingly about the possibility of sending Western troops to Ukraine and weighed his words and announced them carefully.
