Scott Ritter: Iran’s deterrence has been established

An American analyst stated that Iran’s attack on the Zionist regime established Iran’s deterrence power, and said that Israel now knows that any escalation in tensions is equal to the destruction of this occupying regime.

American analyst Scott Ritter said that what Iran did in the attack on Saturday and Sunday against the targets of the Zionist regime in the occupied territories was to revive the country’s deterrence power.

Ritter, who was the UN inspector for weapons of mass destruction from 1991 to 1998, responded to Iran’s attack by publishing a video online, saying: “Israel thought it could attack Iran without any consequences. This is no longer the case. Currently, Israeli officials are assessing the damage to their bases and have found that Iran deliberately chose not to take an extremely lethal action against Israel.”

According to this American analyst, with this attack, Iran sent a message to the Zionist regime as well as the United States and showed that it can carry out an attack on “Navatim” and “Ramon” anywhere in Israel and the West Asia. America and Israel can’t do anything about it. This means deterrence. This means that in the future, whenever America and Israel want to take action against Iran, they must first consider its consequences, because they know that Iran has the ability to attack any target in any part of the region. No one can stop them (Iran).”

He further pointed to Iran’s deterrent power against possible US attacks and said: “This is why Joe Biden asked Benjamin Netanyahu on the phone not to respond to Iran’s attack and stated that the US will not engage in any aggressive attack against Iran will not participate either. Because the United States knows the consequences of such an attack, and this means that the United States has been prevented from attacking Iran.”

This former American intelligence official said about America’s role in the possible response of the Zionist regime: “Israel has been trying to involve America in a big conflict in the region for a long time. He went on to evaluate the “Honest Promise” operation as very successful and, referring to the stabilization of Iran’s deterrence power, he said: “It can be said that the “Honest Promise” operation has been very successful not only for Iran, but also for the whole world; Because Iran’s deterrence is now a reality that can control America and Israel.”
