Analysis of America’s support for Israel’s recent crimes in Lebanon

After the terrorist actions of the Zionist regime, the Islamic resistance of Lebanon targeted the Al-Shoumirah military base, the headquarters of the Harman 810 brigade in the Ma’aliyah Golani base, the town of Al-Mutla, the Admit base and the Liman base in the north of occupied Palestine.
On the opposite side, the Israeli army attacked 50 points throughout Lebanon. At the same time as the possibility of a large-scale war in southern Lebanon increased, the Americans once again tried to appear as a “mediator”. They asked the parties to the conflict to resolve the crisis in the north through diplomatic channels. Contrary to this “humanitarian” face, the record of the Americans over the last year shows their full cooperation with Tel Aviv’s war policies and the incalculable aid of arms to the Zionist army. Accordingly, Washington is known as the first accomplice of the Zionist regime in killing the people of Gaza and Lebanon.
From arms support to mediation tactic
In the last one year, the Biden government has tried to be in the position of “mediator” in the Lebanon-Israel conflict. Washington is apparently trying to prevent the escalation of tension in the region. In this process, Amos Hochstein, the White House’s special adviser on Middle East affairs, in the guise of mediation, only transfers the demands of the Israeli side to Beirut. In other words, the implementation of Security Council Resolution 1701 and the withdrawal of elite Rizvan forces to the upper reaches of the Litani River is the only demand of the Zionist regime for the return of the refugees to their homes in occupied Palestine.
So far, the Americans have not been able to fulfill the demands of the members of the resistance network and Islamic countries to end the war in Gaza and declare a comprehensive ceasefire. It is almost certain for all regional and international actors that Hezbollah’s only desire is to end the war in Gaza and stop the widespread genocide in this strip.
America is trying to show itself as a benevolent and peace-loving actor in the region in the diplomatic-media field, but in practice it has adopted a different policy. On October 18, 2023, the US Congress approved a $14.3 billion aid package for Israel. In April 2024, under the pretext of helping the Zionist regime against the threat of Iran and the axis of resistance, another 17 billion dollar package was voted to help Israel by the two main American parties. In addition to direct financial aid, Washington has also sent significant military equipment to occupied Palestine.
These weapons include F-35 fighters, F-15 bombers, Patriot missile defense systems and various ammunition. JDAM and GBU guided bombs, Hellfire missiles, 155 mm shells for artillery, MQ-9 Reaper drones, jet fuel and other logistics items are other exports to aid the Zionist regime. According to media reports, from October 2023 to March 2024, the US has sent more than 100 arms shipments to Israel. This process continued even after Biden’s deadline regarding the need for the Israeli army not to attack Rafah.
Accordingly, some analysts believe that without the intelligence-technical assistance of the United States, the Zionist regime was basically unable to inflict a severe security blow on Hezbollah in Lebanon. In the early hours of the explosion of pagers and wireless communications in Lebanon, some security experts reported the possible assistance of “GCHQ” and “NSA” to Mossad. About 10 days before this operation, General Michael Corilla, the commander of Centcom, traveled to occupied Palestine and was informed about the latest operational plans against the Lebanese Hezbollah. Previously, during the terrorist actions of the Zionist regime army, such as the assassination of the martyred commander “Imad Mughniyeh”, the active cooperation of the American security agencies with the Mossad was revealed in a meaningful way. Edward Snowden, a former employee of the “CIA” organization, also claimed that this model of operations is among the special specialties of the “CIA” organization.
Changing the balance of power in the northern front
During the last 11 months, the balance of power in the northern front has changed and Lebanon’s Hezbollah has succeeded in disrupting normal life in the occupied territories. In addition to the displacement of more than 200,000 Zionists, the financial damage caused by Hezbollah’s attacks has been announced at 180 million dollars per week. Also, many of the strategic centers of the Zionist regime, such as fuel tanks or chemical factories in the north of the occupied territories, were forced to empty their reserves or stop their activities due to the fear of Lebanese resistance attacks.
This has caused many American companies to not be able to operate and invest in the occupied territories. Based on this, the Biden government, despite its apparent opposition to war and support for the option of diplomacy, actually wants to expand the circle of war to the northern front with the aim of eliminating the threat of Hezbollah in the medium term. If the threat of the resistance front still exists, the Americans will not be able to compete with the Chinese and curb their influence in the Indo-Pacific region.

The consensus of the two main parties in Washington on unconditional support for the Zionist regime as a strategic ally has caused a kind of imbalance in the West Asian region. This fake regime, which is located exactly on the verge of connecting Asia, Europe and Africa, is the only actor in the region that is equipped with nuclear weapons and, as the “military garrison” of the West, has the mission of restraining America’s rivals and enemies. In the meantime, America and European countries play an irreplaceable role in transferring weapons and advanced technologies to the occupied territories.
In front of the international community, Westerners can no longer use the tool of “human rights” against independent nation-states. All international media and social networks witnessed the killing of more than 41,000 innocent women and children in the Gaza Strip, who were slaughtered by American weapons. Against this military-security coalition, the best initiative is to deepen the ties and increase the strategic power of the members of the resistance network based on the “unity of the fields” policy.
Currently, it seems that the Zionist regime, with the help of Centcom, intends to start a new phase of the war in the northern front, under the pretext of the return of the Israeli refugees. This claim is presented as a pretext for starting the war while Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah clearly announced in a message on September 19th that the only way to end the tension in the northern front is to stop the war in the Gaza Strip and withdraw the occupying army from this area.
