The Prime Minister’s new stance on advancing Lebanon’s affairs
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted the newspaper, Prime Minister Najib Miqati took a position on the advancement of Lebanese affairs and said: “We are ready to implement resolutions 1701 and send the Lebanese army to the south of the Litani River.
After meeting with Nabih Berri, Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, he said: Nabih Berri has announced that he will demand the election of an agreed president as soon as the ceasefire is established.
Yesterday, Najib Miqati announced: the number of displaced people due to Israeli attacks has reached one million people. This wave of displacement is considered the biggest in the history of Lebanon. The government fulfills its duties based on its capabilities. More than 700 refugee settlement centers have been established. We are ready to receive donations, provided that the donor is known. We ask donor countries to help us in this difficult situation. We will not stop our diplomatic efforts for a moment and we have no other option than the diplomatic option. We demand a ceasefire on all fronts.
