He added: There are a limited number of aid workers left in Gaza and they are trying to take care of the wounded and injured.
Harris said: The health and treatment situation in Gaza is very serious and the needs are increasing every day. 9 out of 10 children under the age of 5 have an infectious disease; Women also give birth unsanitarily and in unsafe and inadequate conditions.
He pointed to the very difficult conditions of the injured in Gaza and stated: More than 100 thousand people have been injured in Gaza, of which more than 24 thousand have suffered very serious injuries and for Returning to normal life requires long-term treatment and rehabilitation.
Harris said about the conditions of hospitals in Gaza: thousands of kidney failure, heart, diabetes and cancer patients in Gaza do not have access to medical services.
The spokesperson of the World Health Organization pointed out: Northern Gaza is full-fledged hell in terms of health and medical services because there are a limited number of doctors, nurses and aid workers left in northern Gaza and they are also from the attacks. They suffer endlessly and are unable to provide services.
While expressing concern about the conditions of Indonesia and Kamal Adwan hospitals in Gaza, Harris said: 78 patients are hospitalized in Kamal Adwan hospital and most of them need special care.
