Therefore, what I want to emphasize today is that every person who is working in Germany, every person who is well integrated into our society, we welcome him and Germany is his country. Although there is no need to say this.

Schults further emphasizes: Some Syrian refugees hope to return to their country. When the situation allows, we will support their return to their country.

Germany is now home to over a million Syrian refugees. Berlin is trying to attract educated and efficient people from among these refugees and return others to their country.
