The collapse of the communication bridge between two Brazilian states led to the death of at least 9 people.
reported by In this incident and after a part of the bridge collapsed, several cars and trucks fell into the Tocantins River.
According to the border police between the states of Maranao and Tocantins, four trucks, two cars and two motorcycles fell into the river.
This 533-meter bridge was built in the 1960s between the cities of Streito and Aguiarnopolis and is located about 1,300 kilometers north of Brasilia, the capital of Brazil.
