In a statement issued by the regional governorate, the number of submarine passengers, named Sinbad, included four Russian, Indian, Norwegian and Swedish tourists along with five Egyptian crews.

In November, a cruise ship was drowned after not paying attention to marine warnings, and at least four people died in that incident.
