Pyongyang Accuses Washington of Fueling Conflicts by Facilitating Arms Exports
According to a report by “Webangah News Agency,” citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Mayadeen, North Korea condemned the recent decision by U.S. President Donald Trump to facilitate arms exports, stating that this move would escalate wars.
The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) stated: “On one hand,America claims to be a mediator advocating for dialog and negotiation, while conversely,it continues to supply various weapons of mass destruction to warmongers, encouraging them to expand the scope of conflicts.”
U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order on April 9 calling for a review of regulations governing military equipment exports in an effort to streamline sales for American arms manufacturers.
During his first presidential term, Trump repeatedly expressed dissatisfaction with congressional delays in approving arms sales under the pretexts of human rights and other justifications.
