Shooting in North Carolina leaves 1 dead, 11 injured
One killed, 11 injured in shooting incident in western North Carolina, USA.
According to webangah News Agency, citing ABC News, a shooting at a house party in catawba County, North Carolina early Sunday morning left one person dead.
The incident also wounded 11 others, the outlet reported.
The catawba County Sheriff’s Office stated the shooting occurred around 12:45 AM at a residence in Mountain View, approximately 60 miles northwest of Charlotte.
Investigators confirmed the shooting took place at a residential property hosting a party with about 100 attendees.
US police said they suspect one or more individuals fired shots using handguns during the incident.
No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting so far.
