Why Netanyahu Insists on Holding Security Cabinet Meeting in Secret Bunker
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Shabāb News Agency, Israeli media reported that benjamin Netanyahu insisted on relocating the regime’s security cabinet meeting to a confidential bunker.
The Israeli Haaretz newspaper reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pressed for the recent security cabinet session to be held in a highly secretive shelter. This move went against the opinion of Israel’s internal security service (Shin Bet), which saw no need for such relocation.
According to the report, Netanyahu’s office explained that this decision followed increased threats from Yemen’s Ansarallah forces after assassinations of some Yemeni government officials.
Sources close to Netanyahu have said his insistence on holding the meeting in the bunker might potentially be linked to his upcoming testimony in legal cases and trials expected to resume soon.
