Germany: Our Goal Is Establishing a Palestinian State; Two-State Solution Must Be Implemented
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, the German Foreign Minister called on Monday for initiating the implementation of a two-state solution regarding the Palestinian issue.
He added, “Our goal is to establish the State of Palestine. There is no alternative to a two-state solution. The region urgently needs a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of prisoners.”
In this context, the British Prime Minister also stated that London’s recognition of the State of Palestine aims to revive hopes for peace. The UK has joined over 150 countries in officially recognizing Palestine.
It is worth noting that this move by several Western countries, including Britain and Canada, recognizing Palestine has angered Israeli officials.
