The meeting was launched by france and Saudi Arabia during the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The statement announced that the “new York Declaration” was unanimously approved by an extraordinary session of the UN General Assembly. It proposes a principled and realistic choice to the cycle of violence and repeated wars.
