Hamas Insider: Trump’s Plan Fully Benefits Israel
The English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency, reported that a source close to Hamas told Reuters the ceasefire plan proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump is “completely beneficial to Israel.”
The source, who wished to remain anonymous, said the plan imposes “impossible conditions designed to eliminate Hamas.”
According to this Palestinian official, “What Trump has proposed fully accepts all of Israel’s demands-demands that deny any legitimate rights for the Palestinian people or residents of Gaza.”
On Monday, coinciding with his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump unveiled his roadmap for a ceasefire in Gaza and warned that if Hamas refuses the proposal, he will green-light continued Israeli military operations.
This plan was initially set out in 21 points but appears reduced to 20. It was first presented on Tuesday during side meetings at the United Nations General Assembly sessions in New York and shared with Arab leaders. Read details of Trump’s plan here.
At a joint press conference following their White House meeting, Netanyahu expressed his support for Trump’s proposal.
