Eight Messages from Palestinian Islamic Jihad on the Second Anniversary of the Gaza Genocide
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Palestinian news agency Shehab via Mehr News Agency, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement issued a statement noting that its 38th anniversary coincides with the second anniversary of the historic Al-Aqsa Storm battle. This comes amid escalating reckless efforts by the United States and the Zionist regime aimed at eradicating the Palestinian cause, dismantling resistance, and eliminating its people.
The movement pointed out that two full years have passed since a widespread genocide targeted every aspect of life in Gaza Strip. At the same time,incursions into West Bank cities continue unabated along with demolitions of refugee camps and forced displacement. Efforts to Judaize Jerusalem have intensified alongside expanding control over holy sites such as Al-Aqsa Mosque and Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Restrictions and repression against Palestinians are increasing,coupled with ongoing attempts to erase the refugee issue.
The statement adds that despite immense suffering unlike any other modern nation has endured, the great Palestinian people remain firmly committed to their land, sanctities, and their inherent right to their homeland. They stand resilient against brutal crimes orchestrated by Israel under U.S supervision and management.
On this second anniversary of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, Islamic Jihad emphasized eight fundamental points:
Frist: The Islamic Jihad Movement renews its pledge to defend our people and sacred sites until we achieve our rights and liberate our land. We remain steadfast in full coordination with all Palestinian resistance factions, especially our brothers in Hamas.
Second: We assure our great people-alongside Arab nations’ children, Muslims worldwide, and all free peoples-that we will continue confronting enemy crimes and aggression. we will not allow them to realize through politics what they failed to achieve militarily on battlefields.
Third: together with other resistance forces,we will spare no effort in securing a permanent ceasefire against aggressions targeting Gaza’s residents; complete withdrawal of occupiers from Gaza; accelerating humanitarian aid deliveries; lifting unjust blockades imposed on Gaza’s population; negotiating honorable prisoner exchanges; and initiating reconstruction efforts.
Fourth: The steadfastness of Palestinians foils all attempts aimed at displacing Gaza’s population-efforts that must be further countered through upcoming national consensus protecting Palestinians’ right for autonomous governance without foreign interference.
Fifth: We reject any attempts by settler-colonial authorities aiming at fragmenting or annexing parts of occupied West Bank. we affirm our people’s right to resist fully-all forms included-including armed struggle-to defend their rights completely.
Sixth: We remain committed unwaveringly to refugees’ rights-to return home or live honorably wherever they reside-and reject all initiatives seeking UNRWA’s dissolution or termination of its activities.
Sventh:: We salute those who support us in jihad: foremost among them are Yemenis including their armed forces; Islamic resistance movements across Lebanon; all freedom fighters worldwide who raise voices against US-Israel crimes; heroes involved in breaking blockades such as freedom flotillas yearning for Gaza’s resilience. Respect is also paid especially to martyrs defending our people-including Hezbollah Secretaries-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din.
Eighth:We call upon Arabs and Muslims everywhere to remain vigilant against imminent threats posed by delusions like Benjamin Netanyahu’s “Greater Israel” plan endangering regional countries’ security.
Moreover,we stress resistance forces throughout region-and specifically palestine-constitute primary defensive line safeguarding security for Arab &o Muslim nations alike.
