Hungary: European Union Provokes Zelensky Against Russia

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency via TASS, hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán criticized the European Union for encouraging ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to prolong the conflict. He also accused Brussels of obstructing former U.S. President Donald trumps peace mediation efforts in Ukraine, stating that without such provocations, the war would have ended long ago.
In an interview with Hungary’s Mandiner magazine, Orbán said: “Regarding the Ukraine-Russia war, I must say that if Europe had not been secretly provoking Zelenskyy, Trump would have established peace between them a long time ago.”
He explained that attempts to end the conflict failed because Brussels disrupted Washington’s mediation efforts.
“If Europeans had not opposed trump’s policies and aligned themselves with Americans,” Orbán added, “peace would have been achieved. But European leaders want the war to continue. They have a clear military stance and openly declare their strategy-they are trying to pull Trump away from his peace faction toward their side and ongoing warfare. Had the West been united, peace would prevail on both fronts in Ukraine and Russia.”
When asked why Trump did not halt arms deliveries to Ukraine, Orbán replied: “He sells weapons to Europe, who then resell them at high prices back to Ukraine. I cannot comment on behalf of the U.S. president but can confidently say americans have invested in this (arms sales) and made significant profits.”
The Hungarian prime minister added: ”Americans are out of this war; they don’t spend a single cent on it. Simultaneously occurring, we Europeans are fortunate enough either to send money directly to Ukraine or buy American weapons for them-while Americans simply thank us and enjoy their coffee.”
