Trump: Trade Deal with South Korea Nearly Finalized

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing‌ Yonhap via Mehr News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that a trade ‍agreement with South Korea ⁤is ​”almost⁢ finalized.”

The‌ news agency has not yet provided further details on the matter.

Earlier in July, the U.S. president posted on his social media platform Truth Social, expressing his satisfaction over reaching a “complete and thorough trade agreement” with the Republic of Korea.

Trump claimed that under‌ this agreement, South Korea would invest $350⁤ billion in projects aligned with his priorities within the United States and purchase $100 billion worth of liquefied natural gas⁢ and other energy products ‍from America.
