Hezbollah: We Will Not Surrender Our Weapons
Deputy Chairman of Hezbollah’s Political Council affirms the party will not relinquish its weapons amid ongoing daily attacks by occupiers on Lebanon.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Sky News Arabia via Mehr News Agency, Mahmoud Qomati, Deputy Chairman of Hezbollah’s Political Council, stated that Hezbollah will never hand over its weapons as they represent Lebanon’s power adn sovereignty.
He added that the enemy attacks them daily and said the pressures from the United States and Europe have no affect on them.
Qomati emphasized their commitment to UN Resolution 1701 but accused Israel of not adhering to it.
He pointed out the inability of both the US and France to force Israel into a ceasefire agreement.
Earlier, Sheikh Naim Qassem, Secretary-General of Hezbollah, also reaffirmed opposition to disarming the party.
