Hamas: No Commanders Killed in Israeli Attack on Ain al-Hilweh

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera and Mehr News Agency, Khaled Zaiter, Hamas’s political official in the Ain al-Hilweh camp, stated that none of the movement’s commanders were killed in yesterday’s Israeli airstrikes on the camp.
Taher Al-Nunu, media advisor to Hamas’s political bureau chief, told Al Jazeera Mubasher that Hamas has fully adhered to the ceasefire agreement. He described Israeli claims justifying their attacks and escalating tensions in Gaza as false.
He added that Israel is attempting to undermine the ceasefire deal and push the region toward heightened conflict.
The media advisor urged the U.S. government to fulfill its commitments by pressuring Israel to implement the ceasefire fully.
He emphasized: “The U.S. president must prove to the world that he can compel Israel to comply with the ceasefire agreement.”
According to this senior Hamas official, there is no justification for Israel’s intensified attacks in Gaza, noting that Israeli forces have not been subjected to any gunfire there contrary to their claims.
