Moscow Reacts to Closure of Russia’s Last Consulate in Poland

The spokesperson for Russia’s ‍Foreign Ministry announced ‌that in response‌ to the‍ closure of its last consulate ⁣in poland, Russia will reduce Poland’s diplomatic presence and consular activities within its borders.

According to the​ English ⁢section of webangah News‌ Agency, citing Mehr⁤ News Agency,⁤ Maria zakharova, spokesperson for⁢ the Russian Foreign Ministry, said Wednesday in an interview with RIA Novosti that Russia is responding to the shutdown of its final consulate ⁢in poland‌ and will not remain silent.

She‌ added⁤ that as a reciprocal ⁣measure,Russia will decrease both the diplomatic level and consular activities of Poland in Russia.

this comes after Polish Prime Minister Donald ​Tusk claimed Tuesday⁢ that Ukrainian citizens collaborating with Russian intelligence services blew up a railway⁣ line⁢ in Poland.

The Polish ‍Interior Ministry spokesperson also alleged that all evidence points to‌ this‌ eastern Polish rail incident ​being orchestrated by Russian secret services with the primary aim of disrupting aid deliveries to Ukraine.
