Pakistan Condemns Attack on Russian President Putin’s Residence as Serious Security Threat

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has condemned the attack on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s residence, calling it a serious threat to regional and global peace and security, while Russian officials accuse Ukraine of orchestrating the drone strike.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Pakistan‘s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the attack on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s residence, labeling it as a grave threat to regional and global peace and security. The statement comes amid ongoing efforts to achieve peace in the region.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told reporters on Monday that Ukraine had carried out a terrorist attack using 91 drones targeting Putin’s residence in the Novgorod region. Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, warned that Ukraine’s actions would not go unanswered.

The attack occurred following Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump on Sunday, which had raised hopes for peace in Ukraine. However, European countries, particularly the UK, have been vocal opponents of peace efforts in Ukraine, with some Russian officials accusing London of involvement in the attack on Putin’s residence.
