UAE Announces End of Military Presence in Yemen

The UAE Ministry of Defense has officially declared the conclusion of its military operations in Yemen, marking the end of its involvement in the Arab coalition’s support for the internationally recognized government.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced the termination of its military presence in Yemen. The UAE Ministry of Defense stated that the country had supported the legitimate government in Yemen as part of the Arab coalition since 2015 and ended its military involvement in 2019.

In an official statement, the ministry clarified that specialized teams had remained in Yemen to combat terrorism in coordination with international partners. However, due to recent developments, the UAE has decided to withdraw its remaining forces from the country.

The ministry emphasized that this decision followed a comprehensive assessment of the current phase’s requirements, aligning with the UAE’s strategic priorities.
