Russia’s Lavrov Denounces Economic and Military Pressure on Cuba
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has rejected economic and military pressures on Cuba as unacceptable during a phone call with his Cuban counterpart, reaffirming Moscow’s support for Havana against Washington’s sanctions.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov condemned economic and military pressures on Cuba as “unacceptable” in a telephone conversation with his Cuban counterpart. The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that both sides emphasized bilateral cooperation during the discussion.
Lavrov also reiterated Moscow’s commitment to supporting Havana against pressures from Washington, underscoring the strengthening of mutual ties amid ongoing geopolitical tensions.
