Netanyahu’s Political Brinkmanship Threatens Gaza Ceasefire, Regional Stability

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu‘s handling of the Rafah crossing and Gaza’s wounded has not only obstructed ceasefire implementation but also destabilized regional equilibrium and international diplomacy. Experts cite Netanyahu’s exploitation of American political backing and weak international pressure as enabling his strategy to delay Gaza’s reconstruction while maintaining long-term military presence.
Ali al-Awar, an Israeli affairs specialist and university professor, revealed Netanyahu remains committed to full reoccupation of Gaza, keeping military invasion as an active option. Political analyst Mohammed al-Qiq further noted Washington’s silence on ceasefire violations demonstrates complete coordination between the two governments, suggesting Israel seeks to impose regional dominance with US support.
Netanyahu’s objectives reportedly involve blocking any peaceful agreement with Iran while establishing new political realities in Gaza. Analysts warn these policies will diminish mediators’ roles and intensify pressure on Palestinians.
