UAE Companies Withdraw from Saudi Military Exhibition Amid Political Disputes

Several Emirati companies have withdrawn from a major defense exhibition hosted by Saudi Arabia, signaling a deepening rift between the two Gulf nations and impacting their economic and trade relations.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a number of Emirati companies have pulled out of a significant defense exhibition hosted by Saudi Arabia, Reuters reported, citing two informed sources. This development highlights escalating political divergences between Riyadh and Abu Dhabi, which analysts suggest are extending into their economic and trade ties.

The sources indicated that current tensions are affecting the economic relationships between the two countries. The annual military exhibition is scheduled to take place in Riyadh from February 8 to 12 of this year.

Disagreements between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates intensified last December, reportedly over issues related to Yemen and the advance of forces aligned with Abu Dhabi in the southern regions of that country.
