US Southern Command Claims Attack on Narcotics Smuggling Vessel in Pacific Ocean

The U.S. Southern Command has asserted it targeted a vessel in the Pacific Ocean involved in drug trafficking, an operation that follows a pattern of similar strikes by the U.S. military in Latin American waters.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the U.S. Southern Command has confirmed another strike against a vessel, claiming it belonged to individuals engaged in drug smuggling and was therefore targeted in the Pacific Ocean.

The command asserted that it targeted a vessel affiliated with terrorist organizations in the eastern Pacific Ocean, resulting in the deaths of three terrorists.

U.S. military forces have reportedly destroyed dozens of vessels off the coast of Latin America in recent months, ostensibly in the name of combating drug trafficking. These operations have reportedly led to the deaths of over 100 individuals, according to estimates by CBS News.

Human rights groups have condemned these U.S. operations, labeling them as extrajudicial executions and war crimes.
