Official Portal Launched for Citizens to Report Internet Quality and Service Complaints

According to the Economic Desk of Webangah News Agency, a centralized system for registering and responding to public complaints concerning the communications and Information Technology (ICT) sector has been activated to enhance user satisfaction. Designated as system 195, this platform covers all facets of the sector, including the speed and quality of internet services.
Subscribers facing issues such as a discrepancy between the advertised internet speed and the actual speed received, or differences in purchased versus consumed data volume, can utilize this channel. Furthermore, the system addresses operator failures in adhering to preferential tariffs established for domestic websites and local messaging applications.
Users can formally register and track these complaints swiftly by visiting the official online portal at https://195.cra.ir or by calling the automated telephone line at 195. This multichannel approach ensures accessibility for formal lodging of grievances.
In recent months, the user experience with internet services has been marred by widespread reports of slowness and diminished quality. Responding to inquiries regarding these speed reductions, the Minister of Communications pointed to extensive cyberattacks that have consumed a portion of the national bandwidth. The Minister confirmed that such incidents can cause temporary service disruptions or degradation in quality.
Despite these external pressures, the Ministry of Communications affirms that the elevation of communication service quality remains a high priority, currently being addressed through the execution of substantial, infrastructure-focused projects.
Seyed Sattar Hashemi emphasized the government and the Ministry’s firm commitment to alleviating current restrictions. He stated that limitations often stem from security challenges which create operational hurdles for the country. He added that the ideal scenario involves minimizing the need for citizens to install circumvention tools on their devices by effectively meeting public demands for connectivity.
