Russia Reports Intercepting and Destroying 1,811 Ukrainian Drones
Russia’s air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed at least 1,811 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory in the past week, with the highest numbers recorded on February 16th and 17th.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia‘s Ministry of Defense announced in a statement that its air defense forces successfully intercepted and destroyed at least 1,811 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory in the past week. The data was published by the Mehr News Agency.
The highest number of downed drones was recorded on February 16th and 17th, with 345 and 334 drones shot down, respectively.
It was also reported that the drone attacks from Ukraine were aimed at damaging Russia’s civilian infrastructure.
