Hezbollah Commemorates Anniversaries of Leaders Nasrallah and Safieddine

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a ceremony titled ‘One Year After the Sunset’ was held to commemorate the memory of Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, the late Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon. The event took place yesterday afternoon at the mausoleum of the martyr of resistance.
The ceremony commenced with a grand parade by pioneers and musical performances, followed by a tribute and the laying of a wreath at the holy shrine. During the event, Sheikh Nazih Fayyad, head of Hezbollah’s cultural unit, emphasized steadfastness on the path of resistance, stating, ‘These generations are the generations of the martyrs of the nation… As our martyred leader wished, we will remain true to our covenant.’
Hezbollah’s cultural unit also organized a special ceremony at the mausoleum of the martyr Seyed Hashem Safieddine, the former Secretary-General of the party, in Deir Qanoun El Naher. The event began with the playing of the national anthem, after which Sheikh Nazih Fayyad elaborated on the life and contributions of this martyred commander and scholar. He noted that gathering at the mausoleum of ‘Seyed Hashemi’ signifies a renewal of allegiance to the generation that was nurtured under his guidance and care.
