Heavy Rains Flood Palestinian Refugee Tents in Gaza, Exacerbating Humanitarian Crisis

Heavy rainfall has inundated the dilapidated tents of Palestinian refugees in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, compounding their dire humanitarian situation amidst ongoing Israeli military operations.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, rainfall has submerged the tents of Palestinian refugees in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, located in the southern Gaza Strip. This flooding intensifies the already severe hardships faced by these displaced individuals.

These Palestinian refugees are contending not only with the relentless ground, air, and sea attacks by the Israeli regime but also with the harsh cold weather and the persistent rain within their worn-out tents. The situation is further exacerbated by the deteriorating condition of the shelters themselves.

A significant number of the tents erected across various parts of the Gaza Strip are no longer fit for use due to extensive wear and tear. Meanwhile, artillery shelling by the Israeli regime targeting the eastern areas of Gaza City has continued over the past hours, adding to the peril faced by residents.
