Human Rights Watch: Israel Aims to Halt International Organizations in Palestine

Human Rights Watch has reported that Israel intends to cease the operations of 37 international organizations in Gaza and the West Bank starting March 1, alleging their refusal to provide personal employee data. This move, according to the watchdog, challenges fundamental humanitarian principles.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Human Rights Watch has announced in a recently published report that the Israeli regime plans to halt the activities of 37 international organizations in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank from March 1. The report indicates that this decision by the Israeli regime is justified by the organizations’ refusal to provide lists of their employees’ personal information.

In this regard, the organization emphasized that the conditions set by Tel Aviv question the fundamental principles of humanitarian activities, including neutrality and independence. Human Rights Watch also noted that despite extensive pressure and attacks from the Israeli regime, international organizations have continued to provide aid to the residents of Gaza and the West Bank, while Israel’s illegal and devastating siege of the Gaza Strip remains in place.
