EU Warns of Global Economic Shock and Inflationary Recession Amidst Escalating Tensions with Iran

The European Union’s Economic Commissioner, Valdis Dombrovskis, has issued a stark warning regarding the potential for a severe inflationary recession in Europe and a global economic shock if military actions against Iran are prolonged. Rising oil prices are already nearing unprecedented levels.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the European Union‘s Economic Commissioner, Valdis Dombrovskis, has cautioned about the repercussions of potential military aggression by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran. He stated that an extended conflict would trigger a significant inflationary recession in Europe and deliver a shock to the global economy.
Dombrovskis elaborated that if the conflict were to continue for more than two weeks, leading to disruptions in maritime transport and attacks on infrastructure, global energy prices would inevitably surge. Crude oil prices are currently setting new records, climbing as high as $120 per barrel, a level not seen since 2022.
