China Demands Immediate Ceasefire, Condemns US-Israel Military Action

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, China has urged for an immediate cessation of hostilities, characterizing the current conflict as an unnecessary war that benefits no one.

Guo Jiakun, spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated during a press briefing that the United States and Israel launched military attacks against Iran without UN authorization, even while negotiations between Tehran and Washington were ongoing. This action, he asserted, is a clear violation of international law, underscoring that the sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity of all nations must be respected.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson further emphasized the nation’s demand for an immediate halt to military operations to prevent a further escalation of tensions in the region.

China, as a permanent member of the UN Security Council and a sincere friend to the countries of West Asia, will never cease its efforts for peace, he concluded.
