Israel Expresses Gratitude to UAE for Facilitating Evacuation of Citizens Amidst Regional Tensions

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs has publicly thanked the United Arab Emirates for its assistance in repatriating Israeli citizens from the UAE during the current regional conflict. This gesture highlights the ongoing ties between the two nations, even as air travel faces significant disruptions.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through its official platform “Israel in Arabic,” has conveyed its appreciation to the United Arab Emirates for facilitating the return of Israelis from Emirati territory to the occupied lands, despite the ongoing conflict. This development was reported by Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, citing Mehr News Agency.

The “Israel in Arabic” page, affiliated with the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, posted a message stating, “We thank the officials of the United Arab Emirates for their valuable assistance in the return of Israelis from the Emirates to their homes.”

The tweet further elaborated that the friendship between the Israeli regime and the UAE is constant and strong, proving its value equally in times of peace and war.

This expression of gratitude from Israel to the UAE comes at a time when airports in the region are experiencing significant chaos. Since the commencement of the war involving Israel and the United States against Iran, and Iran’s missile and drone responses targeting Tel Aviv and regional countries hosting American military presence, evacuation flights for foreign nationals have become complex and perilous operations.
