Sanders Accuses Netanyahu of Drawing Trump into War with Iran, Cites Military Casualties and Financial Costs

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders has declared that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has propelled America into a conflict with Iran, a war from which President Trump is now uncertain how to disengage. The senior American senator conveyed this message via a post on the social media platform X.
Sanders elaborated on the situation, writing, “Netanyahu drew Trump into this terrible war. Now he doesn’t know how to get out of it.”
Bernie Sanders acknowledged the severe human toll in Iran and Lebanon, reporting that 13 U.S. military personnel have been killed and that $16.5 billion has been spent in just 12 days. The military aggression by the United States and the Israeli regime against Iran commenced on February 28, 2026. During these attacks, casualties included Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the late Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, along with a group of military commanders and citizens of the country.
In retaliation for the actions of the United States and the Israeli regime, Iran’s armed forces targeted U.S. bases in the region and occupied territories.
