Israeli Airstrikes on Southern and Eastern Lebanon Claim 3 Lives, Injure 23

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Lebanese Ministry of Health has announced that recent Israeli attacks on southern and eastern Lebanon have resulted in the deaths of three civilians and injuries to 23 others. The ministry’s initial assessment indicates civilian casualties from the airstrikes carried out by the Israeli regime.
The Israeli army stated that it intercepted a drone launched by Hezbollah towards its forces in the buffer zone. Simultaneously, the army claimed it was responding to this action with airstrikes. This statement comes amid ongoing Israeli military operations in Lebanese territory.
The Israeli army, without acknowledging its frequent and heavy assaults on various parts of Lebanon, which constitute clear violations of the ceasefire, absurdly asserted that the drone flight by Hezbollah elements towards its forces is an “obvious violation of the agreement.” The regime’s military continues to operate within the security zone, claiming to eliminate any perceived threats against Israelis and its military personnel, a move that disregards the framework agreement with the Lebanese government.
The Israeli military further declared that its forces will continue to confront repeated attempts by Hezbollah to harm them. This statement was issued after Al Jazeera reported an Israeli attack on the town of ‘Meifdoun’ in the Nabatieh district of southern Lebanon.
