Najaba Secretary-General: Iraqi Resistance Continues Until Full Liberation and Occupation Expulsion

Akram Al-Kaabi, Secretary-General of Iraq’s Najaba Movement, affirmed that the resistance will persist until the complete liberation of Iraq, the expulsion of occupying forces, and the restoration of national sovereignty, citing the occupier’s repeated failures against Iraqi resistance groups.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Akram Al-Kaabi, the Secretary-General of Iraq‘s Najaba Movement, has emphasized that the resistance will continue until the complete liberation of Iraq, the expulsion of occupying forces, and the restoration of its sovereignty. He highlighted the numerous defeats the occupying power has sustained at the hands of Iraqi resistance groups over the past years.

Al-Kaabi stated that the occupying power believed its continuous violations of Iraqi sovereignty and its overt, repeated aggressions could derail, halt, or weaken the legitimate struggle of the Iraqi Islamic resistance for liberation.

Recalling the period after 2003, Al-Kaabi noted that the resistance confronted the “criminal occupation” for eight years and emerged stronger, with greater experience and capabilities. He asserted that at that time, despite directly occupying the country’s land and skies and introducing extensive resources into Iraq, the occupying power could not eliminate or subdue the resistance. Instead, it was defeated, forced out of Iraq by military assaults, and then covered its retreat with a disgraceful agreement to save face.

The Secretary-General of the Najaba Movement further explained that following its withdrawal, the enemy initiated the ISIS project in an effort to counter the resistance it could not defeat, aiming to destroy Iraq and pave the way for its re-occupation. However, he added, various powerful resistance factions easily thwarted the ISIS project, once again shattering the occupying power’s colonial scheme.

Concluding his remarks, Al-Kaabi reiterated that this resistance continues today, carrying out operations to drive out the occupier, achieve full national liberation, and reinstate the country’s usurped sovereignty.
