New Airstrikes Target Popular Mobilization Forces in Baghdad

New airstrikes have targeted positions of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) in northern Baghdad, resulting in casualties. These attacks follow similar incidents in western Anbar province.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, new airstrikes have targeted positions of Iraq‘s Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) in northern Baghdad. Sources affiliated with the PMF reported that the forces sustained casualties in an airstrike in the Al-Naba’i area north of Baghdad, with three fighters injured.

The PMF also stated that their positions in the Baghdad Belt region were attacked during an airstrike attributed to the “Zionist regime and the United States.” Earlier, an Iraqi security source told Al Jazeera that PMF positions in the Al-Qaim district in western Iraq’s Anbar province were subjected to an aerial attack. The source further reported that the airstrike on the PMF headquarters in western Anbar province resulted in the martyrdom of four fighters and injuries to four others.
