Qatar Condemns Israeli Attack on Iran’s South Pars Gas Field

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar has issued a strongly worded statement condemning the attack by the occupying regime on facilities connected to Iran’s South Pars gas field, citing reports from Al-Mayadeen and Russia Today.

Majed Mohammed Al-Ansari, advisor to the Prime Minister and spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, cautioned that this attack represents a dangerous and irresponsible step, particularly in light of the ongoing escalation of military tensions in the region.

The spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that targeting energy infrastructure, specifically the South Pars field, which is the natural extension of Qatar’s North Field, poses a serious threat not only to global energy security but also to the region’s population and its environment.

Doha reiterated its stance on the necessity of avoiding attacks on vital infrastructure and called upon all parties to exercise restraint, adhere to international law, and strive to de-escalate military tensions in the region.
