Trump Halts Iran Attack Plans Amid Tehran’s Firm Warning

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump has announced a retraction from his previously issued ultimatum regarding attacks on Iran’s energy infrastructure. In a social media post, Trump claimed that fruitful and constructive negotiations have taken place with Iranian officials over the past two days.
The U.S. President stated that these discussions are aimed at reaching a comprehensive and inclusive solution to halt hostile actions in the Middle East. Trump further indicated that he has ordered a five-day postponement of all attacks against Iran’s energy and infrastructure facilities. He described the alleged negotiations as deep, detailed, and constructive, adding that they are scheduled to continue this week.
Iran, in response to Trump’s threats of attacking its energy infrastructure after a 48-hour deadline, had issued a stern warning. Tehran stated that if the U.S. threat were to be carried out, the Iranian military forces would place attacks on the vital energy infrastructure of the Zionist regime and the United States in the region on their agenda.
