Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Chief Warns of NATO and EU Military Buildup Against Moscow
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Sergei Naryshkin, the head of Russia‘s Foreign Intelligence Service, announced based on data published by the Mehr News Agency citing RIA Novosti, that the European Union is swiftly arming itself and transforming into a military coalition against Russia. He also indicated that NATO is practically preparing for a broad armed confrontation in the East.
Naryshkin added that European elites are benefiting from the prolonged conflict in Ukraine by hindering any attempts at a peaceful resolution.
The Russian official noted that Ukraine is increasingly losing its effectiveness in acting as a battering ram against Russia.
Naryshkin further stated that Britain is encouraging its European partners to engage in conflict with Russia. He highlighted that weapons transferred from the Ukrainian conflict zone are moving freely across Europe, and in some instances, are falling into the hands of international terrorist groups.
He also commented that the European Union is overlooking everything emanating from Kyiv, including terrorism, corruption, power grabs, violence against civilians, and war crimes.
