Israeli Airstrikes Hit Mosque and Hospital in Lebanon, Displacing Hundreds of Thousands

Israeli warplanes have conducted multiple airstrikes targeting areas near a public hospital and a mosque in the Lebanese city of Nabatieh, leading to the displacement of hundreds of thousands of civilians and extensive damage to infrastructure.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli fighter jets have bombed areas near the public hospital in the Lebanese city of Nabatieh on three occasions. Additionally, the towns of Shaukine and Jebshit, along with Nabatieh once more, have been targeted in recent minutes.

Lebanese sources reported that Israeli warplanes targeted and destroyed a mosque located opposite one of the Ministry of Health buildings in Nabatieh.

The United Nations peacekeeping forces, known as UNIFIL, stated that the attacks against southern Lebanon, which are often carried out without prior warning, have resulted in the displacement of hundreds of thousands of civilians. These forces emphasized that the widespread damage to homes, roads, and vital infrastructure in southern Lebanon is negatively impacting the lives of the country’s residents.
