UNICEF Reports 11 Lebanese Children Killed or Injured Daily Amidst Escalating Israeli Attacks

UNICEF has revealed that approximately 11 Lebanese children are killed or injured every 24 hours due to the escalating Israeli attacks on Lebanon over the past week. The humanitarian crisis in the region is intensifying with dire warnings about the impact on young lives.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, UNICEF has reported that Israeli attacks on Lebanon over the past week have resulted in approximately 11 children being killed or injured every 24 hours. This grim statistic comes amid escalating violence and urgent warnings about a deepening humanitarian crisis.

In a statement released today, UNICEF highlighted that the ongoing conflict and intensified Israeli assaults on Lebanon have led to a significant number of child casualties. The organization’s data indicates that, on average, around 11 children have been killed or wounded daily over the last week. These figures emerge as serious concerns are raised about the worsening humanitarian situation within Lebanon.

Recent data from UNICEF reveals that dozens of Lebanese children have been martyred in recent days, despite international calls for a ceasefire and the protection of civilians. The organization emphasized that thousands of children are experiencing displacement and psychological shock as a result of continuous bombardments.

The continuation of military operations has also disrupted education and essential services, with schools in several Lebanese regions being repurposed as shelters for displaced individuals. Previous reports from UNICEF had already indicated that hundreds of children had been killed or injured since the escalation of Israeli attacks on Lebanon. In its earlier assessments, the agency had warned of the potential “long-term psychological consequences” for an entire generation of children in Lebanon and the wider region.
