US Military Has Not Confirmed Iranian Mine Deployments in Strait of Hormuz

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. military forces have not yet confirmed reports of Iran deploying mines in the Strait of Hormuz. NBC News, citing American officials, stated that the U.S. military has conducted search and investigation operations but has not found definitive evidence to support the allegations of Iranian mine-laying.
The investigations and search operations undertaken by the U.S. military have thus far not yielded conclusive proof of naval mines being deployed by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz. The initial reports were disseminated by Al Jazeera, which was then referenced by Iran’s Mehr News Agency.
