Pakistani Author Releases Book on Martyred Leader Ayatollah Khamenei

Pakistani journalist, columnist, and author Tuqir Kehrl has released a new book titled ‘Martyred Leader,’ focusing on the life, thoughts, and historical role of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei. The book aims to compile and present the ideas and perspectives of the late leader.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Pakistani journalist, columnist, and author Tuqir Kehrl, a prominent media figure in matters concerning the Islamic world and the Axis of Resistance, has released his latest work. Kehrl, previously recognized for his writings on Martyr General Qassem Soleimani and his travelogue of the Arbaeen pilgrimage, has now published “Martyred Leader.” This new book delves into the life, thoughts, intellectual stances, and historical significance of the martyred leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei.

The idea for the book originated approximately two years prior, with the intention of compiling the late leader’s thoughts and ideas. While initial translations and materials were prepared, the project gained a more complete and cohesive form following the leader’s martyrdom. Kehrl described the task as both necessary and valuable, yet challenging, acknowledging the limited resources available but striving to create an authentic, well-documented, and scientifically sound work.

Recounting his personal connection, Kehrl stated that his intellectual and heartfelt bond with Ayatollah Khamenei spanned over two decades, evolving into an inseparable part of his life. He expressed that his early admiration began as a simple wish, much like many other youths, to meet the leader. This aspiration was fulfilled twice, with his first documented encounter in Tehran in 2011. Since June 2005, Kehrl had diligently followed the leader’s speeches, messages, and visual appearances until the news of his passing on March 1st, the eleventh of Ramadan, brought profound grief.

The martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei, Kehrl believes, had an unprecedented impact on the Islamic world, fostering a rare display of Islamic solidarity and unity that transcended borders, ethnicities, and religious affiliations. The Pakistani nation, in particular, played a prominent and pioneering role, with both Shia and Sunni communities participating in various events, anti-arrogance marches, conferences, and public gatherings to honor the martyred leader’s memory. This widespread reaction included cultural figures, artists, filmmakers, and media professionals who recognized his martyrdom as a significant loss for the Islamic world. Kehrl emphasized that the book is a tribute to this deep affection and devotion from a Pakistani writer towards the martyred leader.

A significant public gathering is scheduled for June 13th in Lahore, Pakistan, where hundreds of thousands are expected to convene to pay their respects to Ayatollah Khamenei, further demonstrating the emotional and ideological connection of the Pakistani people with their martyred leader.

Kehrl’s previous works include “From Obscurity to Ruling Hearts,” a book on Martyr General Qassem Soleimani, which has seen three printings and was recognized among the top ten books at a ceremony in Tehran. His Arbaeen travelogue, “From Najaf to Karbala,” was also published in two editions, with a book launch held at the shrine of Imam Hussein in Karbala.

The “Martyred Leader” book meticulously outlines the leader’s journey “From Student to Leadership,” covering his biography, intellectual and academic growth, affiliation with the movement of Imam Khomeini, his presidency, a historic trip to Pakistan, and key events of his 36-year leadership. A significant section, “The Thoughts of Martyr Khamenei,” compiles his speeches, letters, and important pronouncements. The book also features accounts and memories from global, national, political, and organizational figures who met the martyred leader, offering insights into his personality and leadership style. Special attention is given to Ayatollah Khamenei’s historic speech at the “Allama Iqbal International Conference” and his unifying fatwa. Additionally, it includes exclusive articles by prominent Pakistani scholars and literary figures, alongside analyses and editorials from reputable newspapers. The concluding part features poems from renowned Islamic poets, expressing their deep respect and reverence for the martyred leader.

The title “Martyred Leader” was chosen to reflect the appellation used by Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei in his speeches and messages following Ayatollah Khamenei’s martyrdom, inspired by the earlier term “Great Leader” used by Imam Khomeini for Ayatollah Khamenei himself.
